these boots are made for - desert - walking

I have neglected to mention and show off the new boots Cassia is sporting these days. As you may recall we found her new pink shoes that were good, but not great for the desert, at the Parker Walmart. At the Yuma Walmart I found these cute little numbers. They were a bit of a splurge at $12 but they are perfect. They are a nice tan colour with purple and pink at the top and they had her size - 4  - and they work great because they are hard soled and a hard boot to protect her from any creepy crawlies. 

I didn’t want to go much further without showing them off - they are already worn in and have gotten lots of use. Here are some more desert walking shots - we go for walks everyday. In the morning her hair is a bit flippy - it is also pretty dry here and so sticks up a lot - also her hair is starting to grow longer which is very exciting.
